sootwiseguy Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 1	leaking fluid what is the purpose of the rubber hose coming from the differential case. noticed fluid splattered all over back of car. dealer said he fixed. still leaking. found they stuck bolt in rubber hose and fastened with hose clamp and zip tied high under body above differential.

solstice_kid Join Date: Aug 2009 Posts: 1	ya if the tech put a bolt in the hose he did not do his job right. they should have used a diff vent rather then a bolt.
