2006 Solstice

Purchased '06 Solstice Friday, black, std, 19175 miles. Is using key fob only way to open rear hatch? If so, my fob doesn't work, even with new battery. Ya, should of checked it before paying. Will return to seller tomorrow to get new fob. Took a while to find hood release. Will order owner's manual to understanding all streeing wheel buttons. I own a '07 Corvette but this car is great. Ed

I bought mine yesterday sme thing with the fob, I'm thinking they need to be reprogramed to the car but without the manual I don't know how. I'll be checking with a G. M. dealer tomorrow they should know, I HOPE!

Did you guys figure this out? Unless something is different for your model year, the rear hatch should have a button located in the glove box, left hand side on the underside of the top where the glove compartment makes its seal.

Check the solder tabs that hold the battery. Should be one on each side going through the circuit board. One of the tab solder joints came loose from the circuit board on my fobs. 10 seconds with a soldering iron and they work like new.
