Did You Know

Last night I thought my battery was dead, I put my Cobalt key in my Solstice and the key turned on and everything worked, lights came on, radio worked, and when I tried to start it, it acted like the battery was dead, the only difference between the two keys in the emblem, so after I discovered that I came home and put the Solstice key in the Cobalt and the same thing happened, I guess its a safety feature, both keys work, but will not start, Just some FYI.

If the key doesn't have the correct chip in it, it will not work, the chip is a security feature. You cannot go in now and get key's cut for SKY's & AURA's, they have to have the chip. Should be the same with Pontiacs.
