Manual Transmission Whine 2007 GXP
New member here with a question:
Does anybody experience a conspicuous audible transmission whine, when using reverse or first gear, with the 5-speed manual on the Solstice GXP?...
This transmission, an Aisin AR5, is also the same manual transmission used on the Hummer H3, and the GMC Canyon, and Chevy Colorado full size pick-up trucks, so one would think that this is a rugged/reliable gearbox, but nonetheless, I have manual transmission whine in reverse and first gear, and my 2007 Solstice GXP, only has 21,500 miles.
Any comments?
