LOS ANGELES — A high-performance GXP variant of the Pontiac Solstice and the Daytona Pace Car edition of the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will be among the highlights of the General Motors exhibit in early January at the Greater Los Angeles auto show.

When is this model supposed to come out? And how much more are we looking at for the GXP vs. a fully loaded Solstice? Is it going to be available in automatic?

I am asking because I am ordering my Solstice and it should be coming in late Feb. early March but want to know... would have to kill myself if the new model comes out a month after i buy my car!

LOL...

Thanks guys!

it is gonna be alot more than the base model! 34,000+! Alot of work has gone into these cars and no autos are planned from what i have read up on them. 400+ horsepower auto? But why whould u want this!

Not that im plannin to build the car up to much more.... but an auto is a more dependable plateform.... add a trans brake and/or torque converter and you have a car running very very constant numbers...
