Hi there, has anyone here ever used silicone (www.xiameter.com/en/ExploreSilicones/Silicone-Fluids/Pages/Fluids.aspx) based brake fluid before? I was wondering if switching to it would offer better braking performance on my 2008 Solstice

I've read some articles about silicone brake fluid being used in cars but not specifically Solstice 2008. Most of the authors recommend and I'll quote "The moisture factor gets to be significant if your car stays in a moist environment. If you live in the “rust belt,” silicone fluid could be beneficial in keeping out corrosion. ".

Never heard of silicon brake fluid being used in a Sol. Why change brake fluid from the OEM?
