Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Amelia Spanish for Amy? My oldest daughter is named Amy. She was born on Christmas Eve and is just about the best Christmas present I ever received.
I wish my wife and I had thought about her name a little bit longer. She should have been "Eve", or "Noel".

Pat, actually it's more from the name Emily. It's not even related to Amy. But the funny thing about it is that when I was pregnant with my daughter Emily I only had Angela. She was almost 10 and I did not want her to feel left out over having a new sister, so I let her pick the name. Well there were two names that she wanted Emily or Amy. And that's because they were both her spelling words. :bouncy: So she picked Emily. And she actually named her first child (Amelia) after her great-grandmother. My mom's mom. And she always went by Nellie and we call Amelia, Mellie.

One of my grandtwins is named Patrick. I was honored that my son Lee would do that.
