Shirley, That was WONDERFUL!! I can not believe that I am still out driving my baby. I'd stick her in the garage for a few days for some snow :D

It's been getting cooler here but nothing really good. After living in New Mexico for the last few years and actually having a couple of white Christmas' Im really missing it.

Be careful what you wish for, Christina! You weren't here for Christmas 2004, were you? The waves from the Gulf of Mexico were washing away the snow on Galveston Beach. They built snowmen ON THE BEACH. My daughter built a snowman on the sidewalk of her apartment building, downtown Houston. But up in Spring we got only a few flakes, melted on contact with the ground. Well, actually, that was a pretty nice snow. Yeah, BRING IT ON!

And a super Merry Christmas to my two favorite ladies of the Solstice world, Christina and Shirley! :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:

As a native Texan and Houstonian I have not seen much snow much less a white christmas. Like to play and ski in it. Went out to Lake Tahoe skiing one year and had the most beautiful snowfall. Big flakes, no wind, and it did it for about 24 hrs. and 2 ft. worth. After having to dig out the car I decided that I wouldn't want to deal with it all the time. Seeing a white xmas is one of the things I would like to do before I kick the bucket. Thanks for sharing that Shirley. Happy holidays to you and Keith.

That is by far my favorite rendition of White Christmas. Even beats the Elvis version (Blasphemy!) Thanks for posting it Grammie and a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year to you as well.
Christmas 2004 as Giz has pointed out was indeed white in Texas in the Missouri City area, at least three inches. I took photos and used them as my Christmas cards for 2005.
When I get back from Angola (not the prison) this weekend I will post them.
Oh, BTW, it was 85 degrees here yesterday. How y'all doing in Houston :banasex0r

Howdy Gadget. No 85 degrees here. Been cool the past week. Frost and light freeze on the north side. Sunny skies though. Cool temps make for good top down. Have a good week and a safe trip home.

Nope we were still stationed out in New Mexico. I would love to have a white Christmas here. Or at least make it cold enough that it felt like Christmas. I wish I had been here for that one though.

And I think you are wanting something special in your stocking this year, thats why you're buttering up me and Shirley :D

I stand convicted.

Umm, I mean convinced.

No, I mean, oh well, whatever.

Yeah, I want something special, but not in my stocking. I want her in HER stockings, make her 35-50, attractive, and not fat like me! And remember, a Latina is best, but not absolutely required. :banasex0r

Great photos, Gadget, thanks for sharing! :banasex0r

And that's not even half the snow some areas got. I moved to Houston 01/15/82 and there was a thin layer of snow left from a big storm a few days earlier. That was the last time I saw an accumulation of snow on the ground until 12/24/04. Sure there were drifts from hailstorms, but not true snow.

Then there was the winter of 83-84. Never got above freezing for about 20 days straight, not even in the daytime. Pipes froze and broke in my new house on Christmas morning. THAT was exciting! :eyebrow:

So far this time of the year has been nice, but the winter SOLSTICE is coming soon. :bouncy:

WOW that's soooo cool. I really wish we would have a white christmas here. Shawn's parents came down for Christmas and they couldnt believe it was like 70 degrees here. Needless to say I think they will stick to their Canadian Christmas'

Well, I didn't say she had to be a virgin, did I? :bouncy: :bouncy: :bouncy:

And she does meet the age requirement, she's 45 years old. Check out this link two years ago announcing her split from Ken:

As for looks, yep, she scores quite well there, although I prefer brunettes over blondes.

Perhaps I should modify my search specifications and include a requirement that she be human? :banasex0r

Yeah, that requirement would have ruled out the first two spouses, eh?

But you've got a really good one on the hook now! He better realize what a good catch he has, fer shure fer shure. I wish the very best for the two of you. You going to be in Nashville for New Year's Eve?
