: Cheap 'fixes' for the Solstice
2091351 10-18-2006, 10:20 AM I took a mess of these up to K.C., figured on selling enough to pay my bar tab--LOL
Anyway, what I have to offer is a AIRBAG ADJUSTER and HIGHBEAM HELPER.
The 'ADJUSTER' is a die cut adhesive back piece that fits over the Air Bag light on the panel.
The 'HELPER' is also a die cut piece that fits over the High Beam indicator but is a 'static cling'
I am still selling them at the Nationals Price of a buck each. ($1.00 USD)
If anyone is interested. let me know spmers@cox.net.
The easiest way to get them to you is with a SASE, but I'll send you my address via E-mail.
Thanks-Steve

Steve, How can you tell if the air bag indicator is working? Im just wondering because I've now had to instances where 1 my daughter was in the passanger seat and it showed there was no one there and 2 I was in the passenger seat and the damn thing was off again.
Took her in and they "still saw nothing wrong and there was no recall on it"
MDSOL 10-19-2006, 08:26 AM Mine does the same thing evey now and then when my wife sits in that seat.

"unable to duplicate problem."
That's probably what they say, right?
Similar to the aircraft maintenance team:
Plane suddenly loses 500 feet of altitude.
Unable to duplicate problem on the ground.

Solstice Chica 10-19-2006, 05:08 PM Thanks for the reassurance.
MDSOL 10-19-2006, 10:52 PM I just tell my wife she looks good since she lost all that weight.

Reminds me of the cartoon I saw:
a slim woman looking in the mirror, she sees herself with a big ass.
a fat man looking in the mirror, sees himself as Arnold the governator in a speedo!

I didn't say that MEN see the woman as having a big rear. I said that SHE sees herself that way.
Men tend to think positive, so we see ourselves AND our woman as looking pretty good. Women tend to think negative, so they see themselves as not perfect.
Solstice Chica 10-20-2006, 11:55 AM But Im always perfect :D
And maybe full of shit at times
