General Motors announced today that it will start a third shift at the Pontiac Solstice plant in January 2006. Since it started taking orders for the popular sports car in April, Pontiac has logged more than 15,000 orders, and increased production is needed to keep up.
The Delaware plant will also start producing the Saturn Sky and a new Opel roadster in 2006.
