WOW what a fantastic preview article, thanx for sharing that!
It looks like the Solstice top, as described in the article and squinted at in the pictures, has a sort of Ferrari 208/308 style to it (as seen from behind) What I mean is, the sail panel extends behind clamshell opening but the rear "window" looks to be recessed to just behind the heads of driver and passenger.
Also the trunk space issue (no surprise) might turn off some buyers, but not me!
The reference to the 205hp SC ecotec and its 1000HP derivatives made me smile.....maybe a SC Solstice will come down the pipeline sooner rather than later, since GM does want to avoid comparison to the "F" word. :D

Yeah the sail panels remind me alittle of a 355 spyder. The car looks pretty awesome.Still think I'll end up getting a S2000 this year though.I wish the solstice had the S's engine and digital guages.
that's the next issue. why am I paying for this magazine if they are publishing the articles on the net in advance of me receiving it?
well, some of the stuff about visibility is a little troubling. and also, given their accolades about the vehicle's size, why is there zero storage with the top down? perhaps the production car will address that.
also, they should stick with the wheel that the show car has for production - i'm not sure I like the wheel shown in that picture on the prototype.
