Nice pics, thanx for posting them! The last one really gives you an idea of the Solstice's size, the rear end, rear axle, and quarter panel are all quite compact. This should be an easy car to park!

any word on the top???
when i was at the show i spoke to the spokesperson that was with the vehicle. She told me the top was going to be canvas material. I then asked about trunk space and she told me there is only trunk space when the top is up, BUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ( btw psych, don't get upset, i wouldnt want you to start a thread about those of us who are trying to destroy the solstice idea.) She also said the vehicle was going to be released Late Fall 2005 as a 2006 model :wtf:

no worries pachanga, I kind of knew the trunk would be smallish, i am a realist.

But i agree the timing for the release is kind of counter-intuitive. I'm no expert but I think roadsters would sell much better in the spring and summer.

The "two stooges" of recent elections . . . . and they get the Solstice first.

Hmmmmmm, coincidence?

I know just kidding, but GM has pulled this trick before with the GTO in particular, it is supposed to be available in warm states only. It's not offered at all up here (but for different reasons).

Thankfully the Solstice is designed for ALL of North America.
