I'm serious. When we're talking about a lot full of 'em, do we just say "Solstices"? Just doesn't sound right to me, but neither does anything else I can think of.

My dictionary wasn't much help, but the overwhelming majority of references to the plural in government, science, education, etc web pages seems to prefer solstices.
