I think about this car every day and I think about what a great platform it is. But without forced induction from the factory, it's going to be a lame little Miata type car. GM has the opertunity to do something really great and rare here, they better not screw it up. We need to start a petition saying that we wil only buy the car if it has some form of forced induction. A few thousand signatures of that would make a dent.

I wouldn't get all up in arms about it man. It'll have a TC or SC at some point. I dont think the BASE model needs it. They are gonna make tiers of the car...the top one will likely be forced induction.

Hey, :eek: I know a lot of us Miata owners wished we had a 170 HP (stock NA)! Remember, there's a limit to what's gonna be available initially, the General is limited to 20K units at first, and they'll be snapped up just the way there offered, sans/SC or Turbo. GM already has an aftermarket SC available for the 2.2 echo engine, I can't imagine it would be too hard to for GM to engineer it to fit the (same family) 2.4! :clap:
