It takes a year to plan a national event. In this case, there are so many unknowns that it could take even longer. Would you like to start discussing a 2006 national Solstice gathering? Would you rather wait to see where the owners will live, or can we assume they will be fairly spread out?
Also, have you considered forming a national (or international) club? I'm the founder of the international Fiero club (see www.cfogi.org (http://www.cfogi.org)), and was President for 2 years until not running for reelection last month. That took too much of my time away from my family, so I am definitely not volunteering for it here. I wouldn't mind being club Secretary, however. That's pending the purchase of a Solstice, of course.
Whatever y'all want... I'm just throwing out some ideas, that's all.
