I am sure most of you know that most websites dedicated to specific cars have a very loyal cult-like membership. One of the sites I check in on from time to time is the Mini 2 site. They have a forum dedicated to "Faults & Fixes" for the Mini. Lord knows that the Mini had (has) some issues and it was good to see the members there talk about their shared problems and discuss the fixes that ridded them of their problems. Do you think it would be a good idea for us to have such a forum? No doubt we too will experience some teething issues with the Solstice, but if there is a forum to talk about them I think we all will benefit from it. Thoughts?

I agree. Call it "troubleshooting", "technical", "maintenance", whatever, but yes, it will be necessary.

Chip,

Once the car comes out and we have more to talk about, I can easily see 10 - 15 different "subforums" here -- Its definetly on my list... but, in the beginning I hate breaking things up too much and there arent a whole lot of posts yet. Its much easier to browse the site now with limited categories.... as we increase in post count, it becomes much easier to browse the site when it is broken up.

That's fine, I understand what your saying. I just wanted to make sure that we keep this site "real" about any issues that the car may be stricken with. Many of the other car sites I visit tend to sweep problems under the rug and treat those that ask about them as trolls. Many owners act like; "I bought this car, it can't have any problems!" Yeah right. We just need to keep it real.
