OK guys we need to focus on what it will take for us to buy this car? So just in case Mr. Lutz finds this site he can see what "everyday folks" expect out his dream machine. It's already "Got the Looks", but it's looks will cease to be important if it does not drive or run properly. It will be the small things that will wreck your team's efforts. All those different parts from the GM parts bin... just make sure the "Bean Counters" don't override your engineers! Sure cost is important to me, but not to the extent that the car suffers from mechanical design shortcuts by the force fitting of pre-existent parts. Mr. Lutz based on your quotes in the press, I think the car is in good hands. Please don't let "others" wreck your design team's efforts. Guys, now that we have his attention...Speak up!

Same show car looks, especially the clam shell hood.
Less then 2800 pounds with 240 horses
Very stiff body, I'm concerned that the chopped economy platform wont be stiff enough. Add the cross braces as necessary.
Driver's interior, easy to read gauges that are are exclusive to the Solstice. A classic theme would be great, less plastic the better. No A/C in the roadster to save weight/cost.
Some trunk space would be great too.
Get ride of the Mini Cooper exhaust and give me one larger exhaust pipe (2.5 inch). Dual exhaust on a 4 banger is only weight and doesn't make much sense.
If possible, please offer factory-backed performance parts:
intercooler,
intake manifold,
exhaust,
header,
smaller pulley for the supercharger perhaps?
subframe connectors
thicker sway bars, etc...

Personally, the car already has the look I like much more interesting then the others. Don't mess with the looks, please.
1) 2800 lbs and 220 - 240 HPs would be great
2) Decent trunk space, want to use it as a get away vehicle
3) Good Audio system/CD - tunes and the road
4) Stiffness in the ride
5) A/C as an option
6) Don't really want Leather but like multi-color interiors or a Leather/cloth mix
7) 6 speed
8) Nice color selection - that burnt orange coupe picture that I saw somewhere, nice different color. Deep Maroon or blood red maybe
9) A special edition offering maybe with V6 but not necessary
10) Price is important $23,000 - $26,000
11) Don't need an automatic top either
